Definition of the journal: The Revista Transcendencia Investigativa (RTI) is a bilingual (Spanish-English) scientific journal in the fields of social sciences, education and pedagogy. It belongs to the international Fundación Multidisciplinaria Perspectivas Investigativas, based in Santa Ana de Coro, Venezuela, and is published quarterly (January-March), (April-June), (July-September), (October – December), publishing continuously within the indicated period.

Its objective is to disseminate open science through the publication of peer-reviewed articles of high scientific and methodological value. With a thematic coverage related to the area of social sciences. Aimed at an audience made up of academic researchers – undergraduate and postgraduate scientists, research networks.

It is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes articles of original research in Spanish and English, which must have been carried out with epistemological and methodological rigour, contributing to scientific growth. It is governed by the publication standards of the APA (Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 7th edition of 2019).

Proposals will be accepted for: i) research, ii) review, iii) reflection; committed to the critical discussion of the research - methodological, social, educational, cultural field, debating topics of interest and controversy, and can be presented from different research approaches, as long as the epistemological - methodical rigour of each one is maintained.

It is of great interest to the journal to promote the various types of disciplinary approaches. Articles are published under the Creative Commons 4.0 Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 Licence

Once the editorial audit has been approved, the articles are sent to the reviewers, under the double-blind or anonymous peer-review system, which guarantees that there is no conflict of interest between the parties, prioritising the transparency and impartiality of the process.

The journal Revista Transcendencia Investigativa adheres to open access policies, following the guidelines of the following declarations: Budapest (BOAI, 2002), Berlin (2003) and Bethesda (2003).
