The objective is to analyse the managerial skills and strategies required to optimise educational contexts in Venezuela. A systematic analysis of 25 scientific documents published between 2020 and 2025 was carried out, applying documentary content analysis. Essential managerial skills (technical, human, and conceptual) and effective strategies were identified in four areas: institutional management (strategic planning, distributed leadership), pedagogical management (teacher support, optimisation of learning resources), resource management (diversification of funding, optimisation of infrastructure), and community management (strengthening school-community links, creation of collaborative networks). Educational optimisation in Venezuela requires managers with comprehensive managerial skills capable of implementing contextualised strategies in planning, transformational leadership, efficient resource management and systematic evaluation.
